OYSTERS AT BOULAN'S A FAMILY HISTORY
Rewarded many times at the agricultural contest in Paris, Boulan oysters have obtained the following prizes

"It is thanks to my father, Alain Boulan, that we are where we are today. Embarked at the age of 12 on the barge of his father Charles, my father learns the profession of oyster farmer in a magnificent setting but the hard way. At the time the handling is manual, we are in the mid 50s. Cap Ferret was a wonderful Eden, carefree, France was coming out of the war, everything was beautiful, a dream life without a doubt. The years went by, the shack grew, Alain launched retail sales and offered the oysters opened a few years later. To think that his grandmother Elisabeth Castandet had already taken over the business after the death of her husband in Verdun during the first world war... All this to tell you that our history is intimately linked to oyster farming for four generations. Each time our destiny has caught up with us since our lives did not necessarily take this path, except for Alain, as if life, the real life, was on these parks. Today the cabin is identical to what my father had made. The techniques are the same, as are the parks. However, since 2007, it is possible for you to spend a moment in the garden or near the wood stove in winter, sitting facing the sea, all accompanied by our oysters, white or rosé wine as well as some shrimps and whelks depending on the season.
