Hypoallergenic cellulose acetate is a natural polymer used in artisan, high‑end handmade frames.Our acetate is French‑made from wood cellulose. We craft our unique colors and finishes in plaque form before machining, maintaining traceability of shells and crustaceans for every production and every frame.

This shell evokes the unique exterior shades of scallops harvested from the Rance and Saint Malo Bay, with touches of cream for the nut and bright orange for the coral.

Named after “rigado” fishing (“cockle fishing” in Breton), this oval unisex shape offers a contemporary look with vintage charm.
This Bordeaux-coloured finish is reminiscent of a unique type of seaweed found on the coast of Brittany: Solieria chordalis, also known as ‘red hair’. Like ‘red tides’ created by the swell and the tides, it can be seen on beaches from time to time, contrasting sharply with the light-coloured sand. It can be found in our Quiberon region both on the beaches and on certain shells in the bay.
