While handmade cellulose acetate frames are a symbol of craftsmanship, creativity, and quality, their production generates over 80% material waste. Staying true to our commitment to a circular economy, Friendly Frenchy is addressing this major environmental impact by creating collections made from recycled acetate. Waste becomes a resource! We collect, sort, grind, and repurpose production offcuts from French eyewear makers in our workshop to craft our recycled material frames. Made in France, our recycled materials and handcrafted Balizh® glasses are produced in limited editions with a designer flair, encouraging constant renewal through responsible innovation

A unisex frame with a Breton spirit and original design, marked by soft curves combined with sharp angles. Its keyhole bridge integrates perfectly into the reimagined retro “pantos” style. Once a haven for corsairs and smugglers, Roscoff is a tidal port dotted with lighthouses and beacons—particularly visible from the Sainte-Barbe Chapel.
